About the ACT Dental Group
The ACT Dental Group started in the early 1980’s as a social group for local Canberra dentists. Over the next decade, it slowly evolved into what it is now: a continuing education provider that also has a focus on collegiality.
For the last twenty years, the ACT dental Group has run meetings that follow a very successful formula: a meal with colleagues, where issues of common concern can be informally discussed and advice sought about interesting cases; and an educational presentation given by a leader in the field of interest.
The Group’s educational focus has been very broad, covering traditionally important topics as well as new technologies and techniques. This eclectic approach to continuing professional development has proven to be popular with dentists and allied practitioners in the region, and will continue to be in the future.
