Provisional Restorations

We were excited to welcome Dr Fiza Mughal, who is new to Canberra and has recently joined the team at Canberra Prosthodontics. Fiza will be speaking about provisional restorations and very much looks forward to meeting the ACT dental group community.

ABOUT FIZA

Dr Fiza Mughal graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from a Dental University in Pakistan and spent a number of years working in private practice. Upon relocating to Australia, she completed the Australian board registration exams in 2013. While working in private practice in Adelaide Fiza developed particular interest in managing patients with complex restorative needs and underwent three years of specialist training, graduating with the Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Prosthodontics) in 2019 from the University of Adelaide. She has also been extensively involved in teaching undergraduate dental students at The University of Adelaide.

Fiza enjoys working together with her patients to deliver optimal care and is interested in all aspects of prosthodontics, particularly the challenges of restoring function and aesthetics in patients presenting with wear and missing teeth. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, with two young boys to keep her busy!
