We were delighted to welcome Dr John Cho to present on this interesting topic, as requested by many of you! John was an extremely engaging and well-researched presenter and many of us went home with a lot to think about. ABOUT JOHN John completed his schooling in Sydney and went on to study Dentistry at the University of Sydney, receiving his BDS with Honours in 2003. Following graduation, John spent two years in private practice in Parkes in country NSW, before returning to Sydney to undertake specialist training in Prosthodontics. His Master of Dental Science program involved undertaking research in the area of implant education for undergraduate dental students. John is actively involved in teaching all areas of removable, fixed, and implant Prosthodontics. He is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Prosthodontists, and travels widely as a speaker and fellow for the International Team for Implantology (ITI). He also delivers lectures and hands-on training for various implant companies, and holds clinical teaching positions at Charles Sturt University and the University of Sydney, his alma mater. His special clinical interests are in Removable Prosthodontics (dentures), implant reconstructions and gold restorations. John enjoys reading across a wide variety of topics, and playing the guitar at his local church on Sundays. John’s family and two young children keep him far too busy, but he does manage to sneak in some serious fishing during holidays!
